Castlecourt Hotel, Spa & Leisure Westport, Westport

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were spotlessly clean with adequate storage and a very comfortable bed, but they tended to get very warm even with the windows open and heat off. The service was polite, friendly, and very helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect for exploring Westport, with easy access to shops and pubs. However, there were some minor issues with the number of bar staff. The dining experience had its ups and downs with hot and freshly cooked food but limited options available.

The hotel had some drawbacks with outdated rooms that were a long walk away or required multiple lifts to access, and some rooms had opaque windows creating a lack of natural light. However, the friendly and attentive service made up for it, along with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location was excellent for exploring the town center, and the sitting out area was a highlight, although the dining experience left much to be desired with cold and poorly presented dishes.
